Many photographers use Twitter/X to share new work, connect with other creators, promote photography projects, and reach audiences beyond traditional photography platforms. Consistent posting, engaging with relevant communities, and sharing behind-the-scenes stories can make a portfolio more discoverable.
For photographers who want to grow an existing account, there are also services such as grow up your social media accounts that offer different follower packages; however, I think genuine engagement and useful photography content should remain the foundation of long-term growth.
What has worked best for you on Twitter/X—sharing finished photographs, behind-the-scenes content, photography tips, or engaging directly with other photographers?
