As someone who spends a lot of time taking photographs, I often find myself thinking about what happens just before or after the moment captured in a frame.

What I find most valuable about this kind of tool is not the ability to make every photograph move. Most photographs should remain photographs. Their stillness is part of their meaning.

The more interesting use is selective experimentation: taking one image, identifying the movement already suggested by its composition, and seeing how that implied moment might continue for a few seconds. A curtain may move, a shadow may cross a wall, a subject may slowly turn toward the light, or the camera may reveal something that existed just outside the original frame.

For photographers interested in the boundary between still images and moving scenes, this can be a useful addition to the creative process. It works best as a sketching, experimentation, and previsualization tool rather than an automatic replacement for real photography or filmmaking.
