From what I remember, Drive Mad 2 is pretty simple to start playing. The main goal is just to drive your vehicle through each level without crashing or flipping over. The tracks usually have a lot of obstacles like gaps, ramps, and moving platforms, so you need to control your speed carefully.
Most of the time you only use a couple of controls - accelerate and sometimes reverse or balance the car in the air. It sounds easy, but the physics can be tricky, so if you go too fast the car flips over.
My advice is to go slowly on the harder levels and try to keep the car balanced when landing after jumps. After a few levels you kind of get used to how the vehicle moves and it becomes much easier.
